Border guards of “Krasnoilsk” border guard division together with operational servicemen of the border detachment and cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs tried to stop two SUVs for inspection.

The automobiles were heading to the Ukrainian-Romanian border.

However, the drivers ignored the demand of the servicemen of the SBGSU and continued movement to the border direction. Border guards stopped the violators after pursuing and warning shoots. According to avoid responsibility, four persons tried to leave their vehicles and escape to Romania.

Law enforcement officers found out that violators are locals from Krasnoilsk settlement and they are possibly involved in the illegal transferring of tobacco products. This fact, border guards informed the representatives of the National Police.
